The dimension given for U-bolts is the nominal bore (N.B.) of the pipe. The actual distance between the legs is greater than this to allow for the wall thickness of the pipe. Extended leg U-bolts have approximately 50mm extra thread length on the legs than standard U-bolts. All our U-bolts are supplied with two hex nuts to suit.
