Fire Rated Sealant 310ml

SikaSeal Fire Guard is a one-part, water-based intumescent and acoustic sealant for sealing joints and gaps in internal fire-rated walls, partitions and other structures.

When exposed to heat, the sealant expands to more than 150% of its original size, forming a protective char that resists the passage of fire and smoke for up to four hours in suitably designed joints. It is suitable for sealing around door frames, service penetrations and trunking, plasterboard joints and other low-movement construction joints.

The sealant remains permanently flexible, is non-slump, easy to apply and can be overpainted once cured. It also provides an average acoustic noise reduction of 24dB.

Tested to EN 1366-3 and EN 1366-4 and covered by Certifire approval CF5026. Available in white and grey 295ml cartridges.
